Our non-woven geotextile bags permanently encapsulate the soil for maximized stability. Further reinforcement is achieved by using the patented spikes. For more complex projects, the Envirolok system is compatible with advanced reinforcement techniques, such as geogrid and anchoring systems.
The system is simple.
No extensive footings or engineered back fill. Minimal excavation allows easy construction in remote areas and with minimal impact to the land. Fill the bags, lay them in an overlapping pattern, compact and place the spikes. Add vegetation and you have a permanent solution.

High impact polystyrene spikes are designed to add shear strength by connecting units together. The open designed washer system ensures a strong and simple connection that does not impede root growth like traditional connection plate systems.
Plant roots create a binding matrix through the bags and into the parent soil, locking the soil in place and providing permanent stabilization. The result is a lush green slope that will stand the test of time.
